THE Fiji Society for the Blind in Vatuwaqa has received a gift of Braille machines, musical instruments and hostel items from the Rotary Suva Peninsula Sunset Club.

The gift was handed over at the society on Wednesday, providing additional resources to support the organisation’s work and improve facilities for people living with visual impairment.

The society expressed its appreciation to the club, Rotarians and sponsors who contributed towards the initiative.

It said the support would assist in meeting some of its needs and enhance the services and activities available to its residents and students.

The gift included Braille machines to support learning and communication, musical instruments to encourage recreational and creative activities, as well as items for the hostel.
