Fiji’s iconic floating venue Cloud 9 has been ranked the number two boat-only dining destination in the world, according to a new global list released by BoatBooker.
BoatBooker has unveiled its curated Top 10 Unique Boat-Only Dining Destinations Worldwide, recognising Cloud 9 for its “middle-of-the-ocean” setting and its embodiment of Fiji’s vibrant nautical spirit.
Located on Ro Ro Reef in the turquoise waters of Mamanuca Islands, near Vanua Malolo, Cloud 9 was praised as a floating paradise offering an experience impossible to access from land.
Reviewers highlighted the venue’s uninterrupted 360-degree ocean horizon, where guests enjoy gourmet wood-fired pizza and a fully stocked bar with no land in sight.
BoatBooker also pointed to Cloud 9’s growing pop-culture appeal, noting that the Mamanuca Islands have recently drawn global attention as a filming location for Love Island USA, giving visitors a front-row view of scenery seen by millions worldwide.
Another standout feature is the venue’s immersive reef experience, allowing guests to dive directly from the dining deck into surrounding coral gardens between courses.
BoatBooker said all locations on the list were accessible only by boat, held strong Google review ratings, and had at least 100 verified reviews.
