The Lautoka Scouters Council and the Messengers of Peace (MOP) Lautoka team, in collaboration with the Lautoka City Council successfully commemorated World Environment Day and World Oceans Day with a clean-up campaign activity on Saturday.
Messengers of Peace District Coordinator Bimal Deo commended all those that participated in the clean-up campaign.
“Every action counts. Let’s restore, protect, and preserve together,” he said.
“Together, we continue to be Messengers of Peace and guardians of our planet.”
Participants were also given certificates after the clean-up campaign last Saturday.
