Suspended Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho was taken in for questioning by investigators at the Criminal Investigators Department in Suva yesterday.
Accompanied by defence lawyer Devanesh Sharma, Mr Qiliho was in good spirits after spending a few hours being interrogated by the investigators.
When questioned by reporters he said he would not be able to answer any questions as they were “subject to investigations”.
Mr Qiliho referred all queries to the Fiji Police Force.
Fiji Police Force director CID Senior Superintendent of Police Mesake Waqa confirmed that Mr Qiliho was questioned by their officers in relation to allegations of abuse of office.
