Fiji Kulas head coach Angeline Chua has announced a powerful 20-member squad to represent Fiji at the MSG Prime Minister’s Cup 2025 in Papua New Guinea.
The team, featuring a blend of experienced campaigners and fresh talent, will march into camp tomorrow at the Fiji FA Academy in Vatuwaqa to begin final preparations.
The squad includes several key players from Rewa, Ba, Labasa, and Tavua, along with two overseas-based players from Hekari United in Papua New Guinea and one from Eastern Suburb.
Among the Rewa contingent are Sonia Alfred, Emily Esposito, Filomena Racea, Jotivini Tabua, and Mereoni Tinaimakulbuna, who have been consistent performers on the local scene. Ba’s strong representation includes Sereana Naweni, Adi Ulamila Reva, Elesi Tabunase, Mereoni Tora, Leba Narieta, and Asela Cokanasiga.
Labasa also contributes several top players such as Ema Meriea, Adi Rajieli Mateni, and Anasimeci Volitikoro, while Tavua’s presence will be felt through Vilomena Fesaitu and Emele Vunivalu.
Hekari United’s Adi Bakaniceva and Maria Veronika bring international experience, with Cema Nasau from Eastern Suburb rounding out the squad.
The MSG Prime Minister’s Cup will feature top teams from the Melanesian region, providing the Kulas with valuable international exposure as they continue their build-up towards future Oceania competitions.
The tournament will be played from November 10-22 in PNG.
