With the spirit of Christmas already in the air, Radisson Blu Resort Fiji held its Christmas tree lighting ceremony recently.

Resort general manager Charles Homsy said Christmas had always brought people together.

“With that in mind, we have designed fun activities with the inclusion of special cuisine for every age that are tailor made at making every moment matter, involving Santa and his elves, and the aim is to make it a memorable holiday for all guests,” said Mr Homsy.

In a media release he said the night’s main event started with a countdown to ten and erupted in cheers as the Christmas tree was lit.

The children had an opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap while his elves gave them sweets to lighten up their faces, perfect enough for parents to capture beautiful pictures.

Meanwhile Mr Homsy said with their beautiful voices, a local choir also contributed to creating a festive atmosphere, making it feel almost like Christmas Eve.

He said complimentary mock tails and cookies were being served to everyone from the team, as they witnessed the harmonious singing from the choir in awe.

As part of the festive season event, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is the first of the many exciting programs that will be taking place at the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji.
