A traditional kau ni matanigone for French-based player Ratu Malakai Bakaniceva Radikedike’s three children was held at the St Vincent De Paul Catholic Hall in Nausori last Wednesday.
The traditional iTaukei custom is marked when parents take their children to their mother’s village for the first time.
It is one of the most important customs that iTaukei families have continued over the years to sustain traditional ties with their maternal side.
