Watford Juniors (UK) struck early where England Junior International winner Avyukt Dasgupta held off Board 1 Provisional FIDE Master (FM) Rudr Ravi Prasad to a 1-1 draw, and Board 2 Avinesh Nadan had a 1-1 draw with the London Under-10 Champion, Advait Keerthi Kumar.
Team Fiji countered with Board 3 Candidate Master (CM) Ronald Terubea beating Ishaan Chadda 1.5-0.5, Board 4 CM Goru Arvind winning against Samara Kaur 2-0, and Board 5 Yash Maharaj defeating Arjun Singh 2-0. Fiji sealed the match against Watford Juniors (UK) 7.5-2.5.
In the match against China, Board 1 Avinesh Nadan drew with Haoxuan Zhang 1-1 and Board 2 Provisional FM Rudr Ravi Prasad was held off to 1-1 by Yiteng Wang.
