Two men arrested following a police vehicle chase on Saturday were granted bail by the Suva Magistrate’s Court.
Saimoni Rokotunidau and Apakuki Sowane were produced in the Suva Magistrate’s Court yesterday on a charge of being in possession of break-in-implements.
They were found in possession of items that could be used to break into a house.
Both accused waived their right to counsel and full phase disclosures were served on them.
There was no objection to bail from the police prosecutor who asked if strict bail conditions could be imposed.
They were granted bail with personal bail bonds of $500 non-cash.
The matter will be called again today for their sureties to be present in court and sign their bail documents.
