Year 8 student Ridhvik Chand of Penang Sangam Primary School in Rakiraki recorded the highest provisional marks nationwide, scoring 491 out of 500 in this year’s examination.
Ridhvik achieved near-perfect subject scores – English 96, Mathematics 100, Basic Science 100, Healthy Living 95, Social Science 96, and Hindi 99.
He said his success came from staying consistent, organised and always preparing ahead of time.
“I created a simple study timetable to revise each subject instead of rushing at the last minute,” he said.
“I balanced study with rest so my mind stayed fresh and focused.”
Ridhvik encouraged other students to remain disciplined and believe in themselves.
“Start revising early, ask your teachers for help and trust that your hard work will bring good results.”
Ridhvik hopes to pursue a career in software engineering.
School headteacher Richard Kumar said the school was proud of his achievement.
“This outstanding result reflects exceptional dedication, strong family support, and our teachers’ commitment,” he said.
“The accomplishment inspires our entire Penang Sangam School community to pursue excellence and believe in the limitless potential of every learner.”
