Champs retain Tailevu title

TAILEVU North College and Queen Victoria School have defended their title at the 2026 Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone Athletics meet at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday.

Tailevu North College came first with 17 gold, 20 silver and 17 bronze medals while Wainibuka Secondary School was second with 11 gold, 11 silver and 14 bronze. Dawasamu Secondary School secured third place with 11 gold, eight silver and eight bronze medals.

In the boys division, Queen Victoria School once again proved their dominance, claiming the title with an impressive haul of 29 gold, 26 silver, and 21 bronze medals. Ratu Kadavulevu School finished in second place with 19 gold, 17 silver, and 14 bronze medals, while Tailevu North College settled for third with two gold, three silver, and six bronze.

The competition showcased strong performances across all schools, with athletes displaying determination, passion and pride.
