THE Citizens’ Constitutional Forum has labelled the distribution of nude photos of a female student on social media as “shameful”.
CCF chief executive officer Sara Bulutani said the viral circulation of the photos showed that people had lost respect for humanity.
“I feel that if this is the ongoing responsible act of people, this concerning trend will continue. It calls for the responsibility over the use of social media and it’s shameful to whoever is concerned and it is not right to the person who uploaded those nude pictures,” Mr Bulutani said.
“That should have been kept private. If it involves a minor, CCF is calling for harsher penalties against the people involved.”
