Shoppers can now use their Digicel Fiji’s MyCash mobile wallet to pay for goods bought from any Shop N Save supermarkets, said Digicel Fiji in a statement.
“This addition of one of the largest supermarket chains in the country is part of Digicel Fiji’s commitment to developing financial access and inclusion for the everyday customer. Now Digicel MyCash customers are able to shop at the Shop N Save supermarkets and use the MyCash QR Pay service to make digital payments from their MyCash mobile wallet,” it said.
“Furthermore, they are able to make deposits into their MyCash accounts and withdraw MyCash as well.”
Digicel Fiji chief executive officer Farid Mohammed said the partnership reaffirms Digicel’s dedication to transforming the way Fiji transacts.
“Empowering our customers with access to safe and secure digital transactions is at the heart of our mission. Partnering with Shop N Save supermarkets marks a significant step towards achieving this goal, making cashless payments a reality for all,” Mr Mohammed said.
“With Digicel’s MyCash mobile wallet, we’re connecting people to possibilities. The collaboration with Shop N Save Supermarkets underlines our resolve to make every day financial transactions simpler, safer and smarter.”
The Digicel MyCash wallet now has close to 2000 QR Pay Merchants on board, including all major supermarket chains and almost 200 MyCash agents around Fiji.
