FIJI Football Association (Fiji FA) has clarified that its Legends Club Membership card remains valid for entry into all Fiji FA–sanctioned tournaments.

The clarification came after former national striker Ravuama Madigi raised concerns on social media, saying he was denied entry to the Ba and Navua Extra Super Premier League clash at Govind Park last Saturday despite holding the card.

Madigi expressed disappointment over the incident, calling the card “useless” despite its promotion as a recognition for former players.

“It’s very disappointing here at the gate here, at the Ba v Navua game being stopped here, this gold card of mine given by Fiji FA to use in any sanctioned Fiji FA function.

“Here they didn’t allow me inside, they keep me outside and told me to pay the ticket, they don’t know this card its very disappointing,” Madigi said.

Fiji FA CEO Mohammed Yusuf said the issue stemmed from Ba Town Council security and ticket handlers at the venue, many of whom are new and still adapting to the system.

Yusuf also confirmed that Ba FC had also provided Madigi with four tickets for the match.
