THE present weather system which weather forecasters say may develop into a tropical cyclone and may affect Fiji on Wednesday this week is being monitored by Captain Cook Cruises Fiji.
Captain Cook Cruises managing director Jackie Haworth-Charlton said all their services were still running as scheduled but there could be short notice disruptions for the safety of their passengers, crew and ships.
She said the disruptions would be between January 15-18.
“Reef Endeavour won’t sail with passengers tomorrow, January 14, 2020, but we do expect to sail on January 18,” Ms Haworth-Charlton said.
“All Tivua day cruise and Sunset Dinner cruises are running as normal for Tuesday, January 14, and another update will be issued tomorrow for the rest of the week.
“No fee amendments are available for any current bookings over this period. Please be assured that our Captains will be conservative and our passengers and crew are our highest concern.
“We will continue to update as the system develops. Our thoughts are with the people of Fiji and her islands.”
