The Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) has informed all cane farmers that the processing of cane payments has been temporarily delayed due to an unexpected disruption affecting its payment systems.
In a statement today, SCGF said it is working closely with its main bankers, HFC, to process the payments by this afternoon and minimize further delays.
The Fund has advised growers to check their bank accounts on Thursday, 16th October 2025, as bank transfers may take additional time.
SCGF also clarified that no deductions have been made from accounts that are not in arrears.
“Growers who wish to make repayments can do so at any of the Fund’s district offices,” said SCGF.
