LEARNING to forgive each other’s weaknesses was the key message delivered by Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection Sashi Kiran during the Holi celebrations in Lautoka yesterday.

Speaking to believers, Ms Kiran emphasised the importance of the annual religious holiday which signifies the triumph of good over evil.

Ms Kiran said Holi celebrations also promoted and strengthened the sense of community among believers who not only celebrate the festival of colours but also reflect on the importance of forgiving each other while looking to the future.

The annual event is a major Hindu festival celebrating the eternal and divine love of Hindu deities Radha and Krishna.
