A Cabinet minister passed away last night.
According to multiple sources, the minister was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital last night but did not survive.
It is believed the minister had a trip out of Suva but cancelled it due to an illness which is believed to have led to his death.
Government is expected to make an official statement.
