A lot will be at stake for the FIJI Waters Flying Fijians as the Mick Byrne coached side is yet to register its first win of the tour.
Head coach Mick Byrne has made nine changes to his run on side against Spain tomorrow morning.
History has proven that Spain is a force to reckon with when playing at home.
“It’s a great opportunity to finish our season on a high, big challenge playing Spain in Spain as witnessed last year,” said Byne
“The passion and the emotions the crowd brings creates a lot of raw energy and we have to be ready for that on the weekend.”
Last week Spain took the England A team to the wire and were narrowly beaten 25-29.
Laced with a few notable names from the Top 14 competition, Fiji will need to assert their dominance early if they are to upset Spain at home.
“We have to knuckle down and play our game, and we are looking forward to a tough challenge against Spain, he said.”
“And yeah, they also have a couple of Top 14 players in their squad so it’s a great opportunity to finish our November tour while putting in a performance.”
The Flying Fijian will battle Spain tomorrow morning at 4:00am at Estadio de Atletismo Ciudad de Málaga in Spain.
