VOTUALEVU roundabout is a major intersection in Nadi and with the upgrade of the roads in that area it will be one of the busiest parts of the road.
With four-way lanes and the number of vehicles on our roads you are bound to have accidents on this spot and to avoid that it may be a good idea to install traffic lights there.
Roundabouts are good where we want to have good flow of smaller number of traffic but where we have large number of vehicles using that area we should have traffic lights.
If you have been a regular user of that part of the road you would have seen the traffic jam in the mornings up to the airport or beyond.
I believe traffic lights would be a good investment in the long run.
