A Ba businessman has invested $10,000 into a new mini-mart. Dimple Minimart, which specialises in groceries, has opened in Sarava, Ba over the weekend.

Managing director Mohammed Harun said despite a slight decline in sales, there had been positive response, especially from loyal customers.

“The pandemic has affected our business, but we are still surviving through our employees’ highly prioritised services provided to our customers.”

Mr Harun said the opening of the new mini-mart led to new employment opportunities.

“We have employed five new staff as we look to expand our business further and also supporting them and their families in this difficult period,” he said.
