A driver luckily escaped serious injuries when the bus he was driving was involved in an accident along Edinburgh Drive in Suva this afternoon.
Police said the driver was travelling alone towards Suva when he lost control of the bus and caused it to hit the curb before it tumbled.
“The bus driver applied the breaks but lost control of the bus, the road was slippery because of the heavy rain,” a company representative said.
It has been established that there were no passengers in the bus and that the driver was safe.
Police are currently at the scene.
