A bus carrying 15 passengers bound for Lautoka from Suva was involved in an accident this morning, landing two in hospital and injuring a resident of a home located beside the road.
Police said at around 8am, the bus lost control and veered off the road at Malevu Village in Sigatoka.
The bus hit a lamp post and landed into the drain.
Police said the impact of the accident threw a part of the lamp post to a nearby house, crashing through the rooftop and injured an occupant of the home.
Police said the remainder of the passengers who were not injured boarded another bus.
Investigations are continuing.
