Former FijiFirst MP Mosese Bulitavu is calling on the party’s supporters to continue believing in them.

Mr Bulitavu said their support of Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka was for the best interests of their voters.

“We will remain as Opposition parliamentarians, we will continue to do our job which is to criticise any policy being brought in by the Government,” he said.

Mr Baulitavu said their supporters needed to move with them.

“It’s how we are able to impact the Government and be effective as MPs to serve them better and provide them with service delivery that will also benefit them,” he said.

Mr Bulitavu said that as supporting Opposition MPs, they would need to align their speeches with Mr Rabuka’s next week.

“If there is something in his speech supporting the budget, then I will need to align myself to his speech,” he said, adding this was all for moving the country forward.
