THE Fiji Bulikula have made a significant move on the women’s International Rugby League released on Friday.
They have moved from 26th to 16th on the ranking after winning the Pacific berth at the 2025 World Series.
The Fiji Bulikula have also been rewarded for playing regularly, with two matches in this year’s World Cup qualifying tournament doubling the number of international fixtures they have played since 1998.
Samoa and Tonga are both ranked above the Bulikula.
Fetu Samoa skyrocketed up the rankings from 24th to 11th after their successful Pacific Championships campaign.
Tonga moved from 14th to 15th place.
In the men’s category, the Fiji Bati have dropped from 6th to 7th place.
Papua New Guinea has moved up to 6th.
The IRL World Rankings are calculated on each nation’s performance over the current season and the three preceding seasons.
