THE highly-anticipated Nadi Bula Festival is set to return after a lapse of four years to Koroivolu Park from July 20-27.
The festival, which was last staged in 2019, has been on hold since the COVID-19 pandemic and registration hiccups.
Nadi Bula Festival Association president Ravin Nadan said they were excited to finally get the festival rolling.
“This is one of the most anticipated events of the year for the people of Nadi and we are happy to bring the festival back to the Jet Set Town,” Mr Nadan said.
He said this would be the 64th year of the festival, having started in 1960.
“Through the proceeds raised from the festival, we want to donate a state-of-the-art dental chair to Nadi Hospital.
“We were deregistered previously for some reason, however, we have got our registration done and we are ready for the festival.”
Mr Nadan said his team was working on the ground to mark a grand return of the festival.
“We urge the general public, especially those living in the Western Division and Nadi, to come and support this week-long festival.”
