WHILE Extra Bula FC head coach Stéphane Auvray lamented his team’s lack of rhythm despite his side’s 1-0 home victory over PNG Hekari on Sunday, tomorrow’s mission is just as paramount as that clash.

Bula FC faces South Melbourne United in Ba at 7pm then, where all eyes will be fixed on how the hosts will build on the momentum gained in their win against their visitors from PNG.

Auvray said the lack of rhythm in his side was a major issue which needed to be rectified before tomorrow.

“I think the biggest issue today was the lack of rhythm and it was because we had so long of a break, so for the next game, I won’t be looking for much because I believe the players will be in better shape, much more energetic,” Auvray said.

He expressed the hope of seeing his team work hand-in-hand to ensure possession remained theirs.

“What I would hope is … that we’re going to have a better game as well for the fans and when you have the ball, obviously you have control of the game,” he said.

He added he would not make major changes in their starting 11 as “some players need to rest, some players need to play.”

For their opponents South Melbourne FC, its head coach Sinisa Cohadzic says his players are looking forward to what will be a great clash under the lights.

“We’re playing against a home team, obviously it will be a great night,” Cohadzic said on Sunday.

South Melbourne lost 2-3 to Auckland FC in the match before Bula FC’s clash at the Four R Stadium, Govind Park on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Bula FC is one point behind South Melbourne with 19 points in the standings of the OFC Pro League.
