EXTRA Bula FC head coach Stephane Auvray has confidently stated that the team is ready to face competition leaders Auckland FC in their much-anticipated match at the North Harbour Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand today.

The approach remains consistent, with emphasis placed on the team’s game plan and the development of their football identity, aiming to establish the club’s presence and confidence in the OFC Pro League.

“We’ve been focusing a lot on ourselves, making sure that we are prepared and that we develop our understanding of the game and how we play,” said Auvray.

“And more and more players are starting to understand even the small details, so the more we go, the more the team is going to be on the same page.”

The extended time together has significantly boosted the team’s preparations, despite missing out on their second match.

“Training sessions have gone well and I’m feeling good, thank God. We trained this morning (yesterday) on some details we needed to work on to prepare for tomorrow’s (today’s) game,” he said.

“We worked on them and I was fully satisfied. I think most of the players figured it out and I’m even more confident going into the third game, even if it’s the second one because the second one was cancelled.”

Should the weather permit, Auvray is confident of a strong outing for the team and is urging fans to back them tonight.

Bula FC will take on Auckland FC tonight at 6pm.
