After five rounds of matches away from home, the Extra Bula FC will host the fifth round of the OFC Pro League this weekend and into next week.

It’s the first time the eight competing teams grace Fijian shores for the competition and the chance for their hosts to show them Fijian football flair in their own backyard.

Currently third on the competition standings with 15 points, behind Auckland FC in first place with 23 points and South Melbourne FC in second with 19 points.

Meanwhile, the Bula FC have been diligent in their preparations for this week in Ba with training sessions held indoors because of Tropical Cyclone Vaianu bringing strong winds and rain over the Western Division.

Playing at home means a packed 10-day engagement schedule of matches, recovery processes, training regimens and ensuring the team is in top form to face the region’s best football clubs on their home turf in Ba and Suva.

Postponed matches from round three will also be contested in this round.
