EVERY dollar entrusted to the FNU Foundation carries the weight of a promise that will nurture the dreams of our students who are in need.

Tui Macuata and the Patron of the FNU Foundation, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere highlighted this while officiating at the FNU Grand Alumni Fundraiser Ball on Friday.

“Like the vanua that holds us together, the FNU Foundation unites communities to uplift young minds and empower education,” he said.

“Education has the power to build resilience, to create leaders, and to unite us in a shared vision of progress.

“And when we invest in education, we are not just funding classrooms; but we are building leaders of tomorrow.”

Ratu Wiliame acknowledged the leadership of the Fiji National University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba.

“We are now all part of her vision that I know she is so passionate about, including the tireless work of the FNU Foundation team for creating this platform.

“You have given us all the opportunity to be part of something meaningful, to not just talk about change, but to create it.

“So tonight, let us remember the bigger picture. Every dollar given is a door opened. Every scholarship funded is a life changed. Every graduate we support is a step towards a stronger, more prosperous nation.

“On behalf of the FNU Foundation, I thank you for your generosity, your commitment, and believing in the power of education.”
