Bronze for Fiji at the London 7s

The Fiji Airways Fiji 7s side finished third at the London tournament in England which finished early yesterday morning.

The Ben Gollings coached side was bundled out of the cup competition going down 22-19 to New Zealand in the semi-finals.

Fiji blew away a 19-5 lead to lose a spot in the Cup final. The Fijians beat Samoa 31-26 to win bronze.

Tries from Elia Canakaivata, Napolioni Bolaca(2), Pilipo Bukayaro and Josua Vakurunabili ensured Fiji a third place finish. Fiji led 24-7 at half-time.

Earlier in the quarter-finals, Fiji thumped England 36-10.
