Update: 1:07PM A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD boy is recovering in Lautoka Hospital after being allegedly hit by a vehicle.
Police spokeswoman Naina Ragigia said the incident happened at around midday yesterday along Saru Back Road in Lautoka when the boy suddenly crossed the road whilst walking.
“Pedestrians need to know that whilst they are on the road, they need to practice road safety as motorists cannot accommodate pedestrians at the sudden use of crossing the road,” she said.
