Pacific Specialist Healthcare (PSH) has stepped up as the sponsor for the Fiji Billiards and Snooker Association’s (FBSA) third rankings tournament, set to start tomorrow at the South Seas Club and Lautoka Club in Lautoka.
The healthcare company handed over $5,000 to the sporting association at the Kaks Marketing conference room in Raiwaqa, Suva yesterday.
The event, which runs for three days, will conclude on Sunday and feature 65 skilled players from across the nation.
Solomone Suguta, the head of PSH’s Research and Development team, expressed the company’s commitment to community engagement since its establishment in Fiji in 2016.
“We like to extend our boundaries outside of health with opportunities like this. Our sponsorship is stepping ahead from our boundaries and cultivate the local culture of togetherness,” Suguta said.
FBSA President Keshwan Nadan welcomed the support, highlighting its importance for the association’s activities.
“The generous sponsorship from PSH will not only support this ranking tournament but also assist in organizing a veterans tournament that will follow,” Nadan noted.
The funding provided by PSH will ensure smooth operations and enhanced experiences for both players and spectators.
The rankings tournament promises to be a competitive and exciting showcase of local talent, with players vying for top positions and recognition in the snooker and billiards community.
As the action unfolds over the weekend, snooker enthusiasts can look forward to a series of thrilling matches and high-level play at Lautoka’s premier venues.
