BA Golf Club will host its third Monthly Medal event this Sunday, with the tournament receiving sponsorship support from Meenoos, Ba.

Ba Golf Club has acknowledged Meenoos Company Director Hansraj Parmar for his continued support of the event, which forms part of the club’s build-up towards the prestigious RCM Ba Open.

Parmar, who plays off a handicap of 13, is a keen golfer and has maintained a strong connection with Ba Golf Club despite frequently travelling between Fiji and Australia.

He regularly represents Ba Golf Club in Theodore events and East versus West tournaments organised by Golf Fiji, where he has also played an important role in leading the club’s B Grade squad.

His support for the club extends beyond this Sunday’s event, with Parmar also pledging further sponsorships before the end of the season.

Ba Golf Club says his continued contribution reflects his passion for golf and commitment to the development of the club.

The Monthly Medal registration will begin at 12.30pm, with tee-off scheduled for 1pm. Entry is $20.

Starters will be Sailesh Kumar, Yash Kumar, Brendan Daniel and Jyoti Lal, while cards will be handled by Damon Chen, Christopher Daniel, Joeli Dakunimata and Pradeep Chandra.

The match committee comprises Rohit Chandra, Rajen Singh, Asish Chand and Manish Patel. Parmar and Ravinesh Chand will conduct the prize presentation.

Meanwhile, attention is already turning to the RCM Ba Open, which will be held on August 15 -16.

Ba Golf Club has confirmed that 65 players have already registered for the tournament, with entries to close once the first 100 players are registered.

Players are being encouraged to secure their places early as the club prepares for another major event on its golfing calendar.
