Fiji Pine Ltd and Tropik Woods 400 workers will receive an early Christmas gift with the announcement of a $340,000 bonus payout.
Fiji Pine Group of Companies chairman Ratu Wiliame Katonivere informed staff members they would each receive $850 because of the financial success of the company.
“This pandemic did not only affect the economy as a whole but it was a blessing in disguise for the Pine Group of Companies,” he said.
Ratu Wiliame said the bonus was based on the organisational performance of the company and the profit it had made.
Fiji Pine and Tropik Woods separately recognise individual staff performance with monetary payments.
