THE body of 33-year-old Kaliova Selei of Navilawa Village, Sabeto, was found on Wednesday.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro confirmed the body was found along the Matamanoa riverbank.
A search party comprising villagers and relatives joined police officers in combing the Navilawa River and Sabeto River for any signs of the missing father of one.
It is understood that he and his wife were attempting to cross the Navilawa River with another man when they were swept away by the strong currents.
His wife, Tagiyaco Vakaloloma’s body was found earlier this week. The couple were believed to have drowned after being swept away by strong currents on Sunday afternoon.
