The bodies of Kushal Kumar and Sandeep Narayanof Navatu, Rakiraki, have been recovered after a fishing trip turned tragic over the weekend.
The two men left for fishing on Saturday night in a kayak but failed to return home on Sunday morning, prompting their families to raise the alarm.
A search operation was launched, and their kayak was later found washed ashore in Navatu waters yesterday morning.
The body of the younger man, Kumar, belived to be in late twenties was discovered yesterday afternoon.
His brother in law, Narayan’s body was recovered this morning following continued efforts by police and community search teams.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
