Big battle in girl’s 100m

IT will be a fierce battle in the senior girls 100m blue ribbon competition as top athletes from various zones compete to make history for their schools during the 2024 Coca-Cola Games.

Coming into the Games with the fastest time the zone competitions is Domitila Naita of Adi Cakobau School, who ran a time of 12.47 seconds during the Triple N Zone meet.

Iva Fitita of Suva Grammar School is another strong contender, with a time of 12.78 seconds from the Suva Zone 2 meet. She will be looking to challenge Naita and claim victory for her school.

Tirisiani Kilivaki of Mahatma Ghandi Memorial School is in third with a time of 13.09 seconds from the Suva Zone 1 competition.

Bikoca Taginasedrau from St Vincent College has also made a name for herself with a personal best time of 13.49 seconds from the Tailevu Zone.

The 2024 Coca-Cola Games is expected to be a thrilling event, with grandstand tickets already sold out.

The competition will take place next week at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, and fans can expect to see some incredible performances from these talented athletes.
