OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort has been named the Best Family Resort in Fiji by Out & About with Kids magazine.

This was determined after a tally of the more than 40,000 votes cast by print and digital readers.

The resort also won the best hotel or resort for babies and toddlers’ category.

The resort’s sister property, Castaway Island, Fiji, was also a finalist in the Best Family Resort category.

Out & About with Kids publisher Elisa Elwin said the family travel market was a growing one in the tourism Industry.

“Our annual Best of Family Travel Awards provide a valuable opportunity for the market to have its say,” she said.

“Every year we see firm family favourites emerge, but we also gain insight into the shifts and emerging trends in family holidays,” she said.

Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort remains committed to providing a safe, relaxing and entertaining environment for families.

One of the trademarks of the resort is the Meimei nannies program.

The service is staffed by trained, professional nannies and allows parents to enjoy some quiet time together, safe in the knowledge that their children are in caring, capable hands.

It is supported by two Outrigger kids clubs, the Little Riggers for three to seven year olds and the Beach Riggers for two to eight year olds.

The resort also features a large family oriented pool and an adults-only pool with swim-up bar and bistro.
