Fiji Fashion Week managing director Ellen Whippy-Knight has unveiled her list of best dressed individuals for the year 2023.
Mastering the art of presenting themselves with confidence and poise, Ms Whippy-Knight said the 10 best dressed females and 10 best males had consistently demonstrated a keen sense of fashion in 2023.
“Style is when you make Woolworths look like Chanel, and a lack of inherent style is when you make Chanel look like Woolworths,” Ms Whippy-Knight said.
“The ability to effortlessly make any clothing look upscale in a mark of genuine style, coupled with a touch of class that cannot be bought but is innate. “Their looks are not accidental. They are intentional, reflecting a deep understanding of who they are and what they want to convey.”
The 20 best dressed individuals stand alongside some of the best dressed celebrities such as Margot Robbie, Jennifer Lopez, Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya.
Best dressed females of 2023 include Di Mitimiti, Evelyn Mani, Kiti Chapple, Christine Badia, Khury Coburn, Amber Jennings, Nikita Patel, Judy Harmnarm, Ann Kamikamica and Ana Tuiketei while the best dressed males are Shayne Dayal, Shakil Zorro Bhamji, Temesia Tuicaumia, Dr Henry Waqa, Jon Apted, Sitiveni Rabuka, Nemia Ratu, Dan Paris Matanimeke, Div Damodar and Zulfikar Ali.
