Vodafone Fiji Bati players had a training session at the Hull Kingston Rovers Club on Tuesday ahead of the Rugby League World Cup match against Italy this week.

Several players who picked up bruises in the match against Australia last week sat out the training session to recover. Known as the Hull KR, it has a long history.

It was formed in 1882, as Kingston Amateurs, by a group of young workers in the shipping industry in West Hull. The club competes in the Super League, the top tier of British rugby league.

The club has won five league championships and one Challenge Cup.

The club has players who have gone on to represent England and other nations.
