DAYAL’S Sawmillers Ba football heads to the Pacific Community Cup in Auckland with a renewed sense of purpose.
The team departed our shores yesterday for the tournament which is scheduled to begin today and runs until Sunday at Bill McKinlay Park.
Team president Praneel Dayal reminded supporters that the spirit of Ba football has always been carried by its faithful supporters.
“As we prepare to bring our boys for the Pacific Community Cup 2025 in Auckland, I want to remind everyone of something we’ve always known — the real strength of Ba Football has always been its people.
“Our team carries the pride of years with them, but it’s your voices, your belief, and your passion that push them forward. As the president, I’ll be bringing Ba flags with me to hand out to our supporters. Let’s turn Bill McKinlay Park into a sea of black.
“To all our Ba family in New Zealand — this is our moment. Let’s unite, let’s show up in numbers, and let’s stand behind the boys with everything we’ve got,” Dayal said.
Ba travels with a balanced squad featuring experienced campaigners and exciting young talents, aiming to restore the club’s dominance on the regional stage.
