On this day in 1997, there was only one story and a diary by Waisale Serevi that was featured on the front page of The Fiji Times.
The main story was titled ‘Families told to move out’.
The story was about 20 families at Kecisemani settlement in Nabua who were being evicted because the landowner wants his land back.
The diary by Serevi is the first of articles which he wrote from Hong Kong on Fiji’s campaign for the World Cup.
Join us again tomorrow as we go back in time!
