THE FSC Ba Golf Club will host the Shakti Singh and family-sponsored 18 holes stroke event on Sunday.
Last week’s winner Raven Kumar has been tipped as one of the front-runners for the top award but is expected to face stiff competition from Asish Chand, Rajesh Prasad and Ashwin Sharma.
Tournament official Rajesh Prasad said the competition this weekend would be tough as participants would want to challenge Kumar for the top placing. He said top golfers in Ba were expected be at their best in the event.
“All golfers will want to win the event and challenge Raven after his win last week,” said Prasad.
“The standard of competition has improved each week and we expect this weekend’s event to be very competitive. The course is in top condition with good scores expected.”
Prasad said there would be prizes in the A, B and C grades.
“We are calling on all aspiring golfers to come out in huge numbers and support the sport.”
The entry fees for each player is $10 and lunch to be provided.
