Hosts Ba have booked their spot in the final of the 2025 FMF IDC after a convincing 3-nil win over last year’s winner Labasa in the semi-final at 4R Stadium Govind Park this afternoon.
Ba started the match well and had a few early chances but Labasa stopper Simione Tamanisau kept the Babasiga Lions in the match.
Vilitati Kautoga broke the deadlock when he chipped the ball over Tamanisau for Ba’s first goal.
Player of the match Nabil Begg scored the second goal with a header is the second spell.
Etonia Dogelau sealed the win in injury time blasting in the third from close range.
The second semi final is between Rewa and Suva.
