BA under-14 girls have secured their place in the final of the Fiji Primary Schools IDC after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Dreketi at Prince Charles Park yesterday.
Despite Dreketi’s strong performance, Ba managed to hold their ground and find the crucial goal that sealed their spot in today’s final.
In the other semifinal, Labasa edged Seaqaqa 1-0 to set up an exciting showdown with Ba in the championship decider.
Ba coach Pranil Prakash praised his young side for their determination.
“Dreketi was a better team but our girls fought till the end to win,” Prakash said.
“We are anticipating a tough match against Labasa in the final it will not be an easy match.”
The U14 girls final between Ba and Labasa kicks off today at Prince Charles Park.
Meanwhile in the boys division, their quarter-final matches were played yesterday with the semis on today.
