VINOD Patel Ba will be on the road to Labasa this weekend as they face Macuata in round seven of the Skipper Cup at Subrail Park on Saturday.

Ba Rugby Union secretary, Gabby Kautoga, said the team has been preparing well since their last outing against Lautoka and is determined to bounce back.

“The boys have been working hard to rectify the errors from the Lautoka game last week. We know it will be tough beating Macuata on their home soil, especially now when no team Ba, Macuata, or Vatukoula wants to finish at the bottom of the table,” Kautoga said.

He added that the squad has been training strongly throughout the week with no major injuries in camp.

“Some boys will be travelling for the first time to Macuata, so it’s going to be a good experience for them.

“We’re looking forward to the challenge and we also expect Macuata to come out strong in front of their home crowd,” he added.

Meanwhile, in other round seven fixtures, Suva will host Nadroga, Nadi will take on Tailevu, Lautoka will face Malolo, while Vatukoula will challenge Naitasiri in the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy encounter.
