BA Rugby Union stamped their dominance at the 2025 Nadi Junior Rugby Festival, closing a successful two-day competition at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Wednesday.
The festival, supported by Oceania Rugby, World Rugby, and the Fiji Rugby Union, brought together hundreds of young athletes who showcased raw talent, determination, and a growing passion for rugby.
Ba’s teams were a class above the rest, featuring in almost all major finals, including the U12 boys and girls, U14 boys and girls, U16 boys, and U18 boys categories.
Their winning momentum began early when both Ba U12 teams claimed their cup finals. The U12 girls were especially dominant, cruising past Jetset 24-0 in a one-sided match that highlighted their strong defence and blistering pace out wide.
The Ba U18 girls also contributed to the medal haul with a convincing 24-0 victory over Nawaka in the Plate final.
Ba’s dominance continued in the U16 boys grade final, while Vuda Green took out the girls’ division. Vuda Green also secured the U18 girls’ title, and Nawaka claimed the U18 boys’ championship.
In other results, Votualevu Girls U10 edged Nauru 1-0 to win the Tag Cup final, while Saunaka dominated the boys’ U10 division with a 2-0 win over Jetset. Saunaka also captured the U8 mixed Tag Cup final, defeating Jetset 1-0.
