BA produced a dominant second-half performance to defeat Nadroga 4-1 in the second match of Day One of the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT at Subrail Park in Labasa yesterday.

After a quiet and uneventful first half, the Men in Black came out firing after the break and quickly took control of the contest.

The breakthrough came courtesy of John Alick, who stunned spectators with a spectacular 35-yard strike to give Ba a deserved lead.

Buoyed by the opener, Ba continued to press forward and doubled their advantage just minutes later through Ryan Naresh.

Nadroga struggled to contain Ba’s attacking momentum as Etonia Dogalau found the back of the net twice, extending the lead to 4-0 and effectively putting the match beyond reach.

The Stallions’ hopes of mounting a comeback suffered a major setback when star striker Jibola Afonja was shown a red card following an off-the-ball incident, reducing Nadroga to 10 men.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Nadroga continued to fight and were rewarded late in the match when Kehinde Adejumo scored a consolation goal. His strike denied Ba a clean sheet but did little to alter the outcome as the Men in Black cruised to a convincing 4-1 victory.

The result gives Ba a strong start to their Fiji FACT campaign, while Nadroga will need to regroup quickly ahead of their next pool match as they look to keep their tournament hopes alive.

In matches today, Ba plays Lautoka at 4pm while Nadroga takes on Nasinu at 12pm.
