BUILD-UP TO FIJI vs WALLABIES MATCH | ‘Superboot’ recalls 1987 win

Dancing his way around the rugby field with his form and shooting well-placed conversions in between the goal posts was more than enough for former Flying Fijians fullback Severo Koroduadua to be dubbed the ‘Superboot.’

In today’s RAKA FILE feature, a new series by The Fiji Times looking back on the yester-years of the Flying Fijians, he fondly recalled his experience of being with the team at the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987.

He shared how they prepared with little, however their campaign opener against Argentina, where they won 28-9 and making it to the quarter-final was the icing on the cake.

The Fiji Times is publishing their accounts ahead of the much-anticipated Test match between the FIJI Water Flying Fijians and the Australian Wallabies this Sunday in Newcastle, Australia.
